Each day, children learn they way that they do naturally: using all of their senses to experience the world around themselves in close contact with an adult caregiver. Rather staying in one place, we incorporate daily learning adventures into our curriculum for the toddler cohort. Through these, children supplement their experiences in the learning home. We explore the different facets of our key themes and strive to create an immersive and stimulating environment conducive to children's social, emotional, and physical development.
For our toddler cohort, our local area (like our farmers market, parks, community garden, and Agnes Scott area) and Atlanta Metropolitan areas and all of their wonderful resources (like Alliance Theater's Theater for the Very Young, Botanical Gardens, Fernbank Museum of Natural History) are all an extension of our learning world.
Wonder what a week in the life of a child at Grand Magnolia looks like? Flexibility that attends to and responds to the needs and interests of our individual students and families is a key tenant of our approach.
