We believe in adventure and that the best learning happens in the wild. We live in such an amazing city and make a point to experience it. Rather than stay in one place all day, the toddler cohort goes on daily outings that can be nearby (a walk to Agnes Scott's campus, visiting the comunity garden) or to placed like Piedmont Park, Theater for the Very Young at the Alliance Theater, or the Fernbank Museum of Natural History.
Grand Magnolia builds from the Georgia Early Learning Standards (GELDS) that include a focus on each child’s: 1) BODY: physical, health, well-being, and movement skills, 2) HEART: social and emotional development, 3) WELLNESS: independence, hygiene, and transitions, 4) MIND: thinking abilities and general knowledge, and 5) CONNECTIONS: communication, language, and literacy. Learn more about the GELDS here:
Included in tuition, each student participates in a rotating selection of enrichment activities modified to match their developmental stage. The activities include: foreign language, food exploration, art, gardening, STEAM, theatre, and dance.
